Data Safety Containment // Rev. 2026.09.07
Information We Collect
Axion collects only the minimum data required to operate its features. This includes Discord Server (Guild) IDs, User IDs, Channel IDs, Role IDs, and server configuration settings (such as welcome templates, moderation rules, prefix preferences, and temporary role timers).
We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) such as email addresses, real names, IP addresses, or payment information.
Server Members Data
Axion uses the Server Members (Guild Members) privileged intent to power security automation (anti-raid, join-gate verification, anti-impersonation), welcome/farewell systems, auto-role assignment, temporary & sticky roles, live member counters, Nitro Booster detection, and moderation audit logging.
Only Discord IDs (User ID, Guild ID, Role IDs) and timestamps are stored in our database for these features. No usernames, avatars, or other profile data is persisted.
Presence Data
Axion uses the Presence privileged intent to power vanity status supporter rewards (auto-granting roles when members display the server’s invite URL in their custom status), real-time online/idle/DND member counters, and rich presence utilities such as the /spotify and /userinfo commands.
Presence data (online status, activities, custom statuses) is processed entirely in-memory in real time and is never written to any database or stored off-platform. Once processed, presence data is immediately discarded.
Message Content Data
Axion uses the Message Content privileged intent to power real-time AutoMod filtering (anti-spam, anti-phishing, banned words/regex), customizable prefix commands, counting channels, sticky messages, bump reminders, keyword highlight notifications, the AFK mention system, deleted/edited message modlogs, and interactive chat minigames.
Message content is processed ephemerally in-memory for the above features and is never bulk-logged, stored in any database, or retained off-platform. Only user-created configuration templates (such as admin-configured sticky message templates or custom tags) are stored.
Message content data is never used to train machine learning or AI models.
How Users Can Opt Out
Presence Data: Users can opt out by setting their Discord activity to private or clearing their custom status. Server administrators can disable the Server Supporters and Server Stats modules at any time via the dashboard or bot commands.
Message Content: Server administrators can exclude specific channels, categories, and roles from AutoMod processing. Individual users can opt out of keyword highlights and AFK notifications using in-bot commands (/highlight remove, /afk off).
Server Members Data: Server administrators can disable any member-lifecycle module (welcomer, modlogs, auto-roles, etc.) at any time. Removing the bot from the server deletes all associated guild data.
Data Storage & Security
Server configuration and Discord ID data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database with encrypted connections. Access is restricted to authorized bot systems only. No data is sold, shared with, or accessible to any third parties except essential hosting infrastructure providers.
Data Retention & Deletion
Guild configuration data is retained only while the bot is a member of that server. When the bot is removed from a server, all data associated with that guild is automatically deleted.
Users may request deletion of their personal data (User ID references) at any time by contacting us via our support server. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Third-Party Services
Axion does not sell or share your data with any third parties. Data is only shared with essential infrastructure providers (database hosting, server hosting) as required to operate the service. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.
Children’s Privacy
Axion is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13, in accordance with Discord’s own Terms of Service and COPPA regulations. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated periodically. Material changes will be announced on our support server and reflected in the revision date above. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
